This presentation attempts to predict what the future holds for FPGA technology and those that will use it. This is the speaker's personal attempt to stimulate thoughts and discussion. The presentation does not intentionally reflect the immediate development plans of FPGA products by Xilinx or any other FPGA vendor. It considers the future beyond the next generation, although the trends may already be emerging.
