    David was appointed Innovation Director for RSSB in 2014. He is responsible for the innovation programme, focussing on the Rail Technical Strategy, the sustainability of the industry, health and wellbeing, and workforce development.David joined British Rail as a graduate in 1985. Before joining RSSB in 2012, his roles within the industry included Head of Technical Team at the Department for Transport, where he was responsible for the department’s input into the Rail Technical Strategy as well as working for a number of contractors, including Babcock Rail.David is a Chartered Civil Engineer.
