About the session

Designing comfort and wellbeing into low energy homes with MVHR and radiant heating/cooling technology.

Enjoying the warm weather? The London Plan now requires designers to demonstrate that they have properly assessed and mitigated overheating issues. Providing a properly designed ventilation system is ket to achieving this. However, it's not just about compliance. Being able to offer a comfortable living environment with fresh, clean air is increasingly seen as a key performance criteria whick links health and wellbeing of future home occupants.

This event will help you understand exactly what contributes to indoor air quality and how it can affect health. It will then show you how MVHR systems can dramatically improve air quality and comfort whilst also discussing some of the key issues that designers need to consider. We will then look at radiant technology and explain how thios can all be pulled together with MVHR systems to create a low carbon heating, ventilation and cooling strategy.
