Abstract
The 2010 Innovation Award for Transport has been won by Antonov Automotive Technologies Ltd for their High Efficiency Three Speed Power-shift Transmission for Electric Vehicles. The judges were particularly impressed by the innovations in design that reduced the size and weight, as well as the efficient power saving design of the control system.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
