Abstract
BT Research and Technology's Wide Area Network Optimisation Services - a technology with the potential to improve application performance by up to 100 times whilst substantially reducing network costs for enterprises. This winning entry was described as “impressive” by the judging panel.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
