Abstract
AlertMe.com's online home energy management service, showing consumers where their home energy goes, has been judged the winner in the Software in Design category of the 2010 Innovation Awards. The judges were impressed by the innovation's ability to broaden energy management into a home energy monitoring capability.The IET Innovation Awards celebrate the products, technologies and processes that lead the way in engineering innovation. Spanning 15 categories, the Awards are judged by engineering experts and recognise the depth and breadth of innovative work being carried out across all areas of engineering and technology.
