Tom Egan, Business Development and Capability Manager at Leonardo Helicopters and a member of the IET’S Education and Skills Panel, has over 40 years of experience in the aviation business. He has also been elected as one of the UK’s Top 100 in Manufacturing by The Manufacturer Magazine in 2016.
We spoke to Tom about his role at Leonardo Helicopters and any advice he could share to SME companies investing in digital manufacturing technologies. Tom highlights the benefits and challenges of technology in manufacturing and the importance of educating smarter.
