Abstract

Digital Twins offer a wide range of opportunities, benefits, challenges and risks. At Digital Construction Week in 2019, we spoke to experts on how Digital Twins could be applied in the Built Environment.

They highlighted the opportunities that Digital Twins provide and what needs to happen next to implement Digital Twins in the Built Environment.

After over 20 years specialising in Strategy, Innovation and Knowledge Management, Rosemary has now established I&K, The Innovation and Knowledge Agency. The Agency supports organisations to develop their approach to Innovation, focusing on Business Models, Culture and Process and guides them on how to recognise and leverage their Knowledge assets.Rosemary acts as a Board Advisor for both the Managing Partners' Forum and Alternative Events around Innovation, Knowledge and Technology.

    Richard Saxon is a client and business adviser at Consultancy for the Built Environment and at Deploi: BIM Strategies. He wrote the UK BIM Alliance client guide ‘Going Digital’, published in October 2018. Richard is also chairman of contract writing body JCT, which is progressively digitizing its services. Richard is a former chairman of BDP and was made a CBE in 2001 for his work on construction industry reform.

This course draws on the substantial expertise of industry experts in a range of subjects. Beth undertakes teaching regularly at executive level and uses techniques developed for general management education to do so.
