Abstract
Many of our members tell us that they loved playing with LEGO® when they were growing up, and how LEGO® helped to inspire them into a career in engineering. This lecture will hold particular interest to schools, families and those with an interest in LEGO®
Our speaker, Steven Mackenzie, LEGO® Education, takes you on a journey through the history of LEGO® with live build-a-thons and interactive content, covering the last 90 years of LEGO® history, and what things might be like when we reach the 100th anniversary.
With hands-on STEM education activities for both adults and children and audience participation, we will look at the last 90 years of LEGO® history, and what things might be like when we reach the 100th anniversary.
