Highlights from the IET Faraday Challenge Day 2013 where the top 3 teams of students from the 2012-13 academic year battled it out in the Emergency Communications challenge. Within this challenge students had to work in engineer rescue teams to design and build a prototype device that would send coded messages from Town Alpha to Town Beta which had been adversely affected by extreme weather conditions.
