Abstract
The IET’s third Engineering Open House Day took place on Friday 28 July to give young people and their parents the chance to explore how engineering and technology careers play a key role in some of the UK's best known organisations. This year, more than 40 events took place at venues and organisations across the UK - from Cornwall to Aberdeen - to showcase the importance of engineering and technology and how creative these careers can be. Engineering Open House Day forms part of the IET’s Engineer a Better World campaign to inspire the next generation of engineers.
