Abstract
This event was hosted by the IET in collaboration with BRE and Home of 2030.
A keynote from the new Housing Minister Christopher Pincher launched the Home of 2030 Design competition. The Minster also presented awards to the 4 winners of the Home of 2030 Innovation Challenge, a precursor to the main competition.
Experts from both industry and academia were invited to discuss the Future of Housing, Low Environmental Impact and Innovation, Age Friendly and Inclusive Living and Public Vision. An overview of challenges were presented, launching the start of the Home of 2030 Competition.
