Cedric is Chief Engineer, Engines Product Group, Ricardo UK. He joined Ricardo in 2008 having previously worked in development roles for automotive OEMs. He was trained in France having gained an MSc from the University of Nantes, before completing a PhD at the University of Poitiers. He has extensive experience in the development of power train technology and particularly in developments to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions in both petrol and diesel engines. In his current role he has been involved in projects to develop thermal management and waste heat recovery systems in order to reduce engine warm up, power train cooling and cabin temperature control.
