Abstract
An overview of the objectives, status and progress of the Digital Railway delivery of European Train Control System (ETCS) on the UK network. Looking at the East Coast Digital Programme and then the wider view of where next.
We will look at the technology behind Digital Signalling and the plans to roll this out into Southern Region. We will look into nuances and issues with delivering the technology into service, looking at infrastructure, trains and the wider change and integration piece.
