    UK Power Networks, Chair

    Martin is responsible for UK Power Networks’ portfolio of innovation projects which will lead UK Power Networks’ smart grid planning activities and contribute to the development and upgrade of Britain’s electricity system.Martin also sits on the Ofgem Smart Grid Forum, which supports the transition to a low carbon future; he represents UK Power Networks on two focus areas: ‘Developing Networks for Low Carbon’ and ‘Knowledge Dissemination.Previously, Martin was an Electronic and Electrical Engineer at Philips and Detica. Martin has a PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University College London.
