The Demand-Attentive Network Initiative from the IET seeks to encourage industry and policy makers to look beyond the assumption that simply upgrading last mile bandwidth is the only way to facilitate improved quality of experience over network infrastructure. It takes a more holistic perspective on delivery of applications over networks and examines a range of technology and policy options that could be harnessed to improve network infrastructure performance.
