Abstract
The first in the IET’s series of regional events to introduce the public to the BBC micro:bit. The day was made up of micro:bit zoned areas inviting attendees to have a go at the hands-on activities and become more familiar with the coding editors available; Flux movement workshops to demonstrate and bring to life some of the more complex language of coding and programming; and careers talks and tours of the venue from Schneider Electric themselves. In this video you can see how this event was received by the public and the excitement and enthusiasm shown by the young people to use this brand new piece of technology.
