5G will go beyond faster phones and better entertainment when vertical industries and communication service providers learn how to work together. This ‘digital ecosystem partnership’ model is new territory for everyone. TM Forum has been working with the telecoms industry, its supply chain and industry verticals for the last three years, to create an Open Digital Framework that is now beginning to unlock the digital service partnership opportunity, and opening the pathway to the 5G-enabled Real-Time Enterprise.
