This presentation discusses the benefits of using PLC technology in intelligent motor control centers (iMCC), and includes: a presentation of the ACT (Advanced Communication Technology) team of Schneider Electric's Innovation Division; an overview of PLC (power line carrier) technologies; the PLC Propagation Simulator (a tool developed on Matlab); a description of iMCC industrial applications and constraints; and Schneider Electric's PLC product description and benefits.
