About the session
This free-to-attend seminar, jointly organised with ITS UK, will introduce Behavioural Psychology and Behavioural Insights (“nudge”), and indicate the potentially huge scope for applying them in Transport. It will explain how they have been applied in real situations, using a people-centred approach, indicating how technological advances will change the way we travel.
Topics addressed include:
Results from behavioural insights trials, and how behavioural insights and people-centred approaches are being embedded at DfT.
Transport project management: behaviourally informed ways of working.
Behaviour change in young and novice drivers.
Behaviour Change at Transport for London.
How people deal with travel disruption.
Investigating customer experience on the railway.
Gamification and active travel.
