BT 21^st century network water industry impact

As BT prepare to roll out their next generation network across the UK known as the 21st century network (21CN), this presentation provides a high level view of how this is likely to affect the UK water industry, in particular the telemetry and SCADA systems that rely on services such as PSTN. Whilst there are some potential benefits for UK utilities in the future there are also some potential technical issues as migration takes place at operational water sites. This presentation provides an insight to the way the water industry have worked together proactively with BT to address these issues to minimise any disruption.
