Abstract
The second Applied Visualisation Forum on 25 January 2018 brought together engineers and practitioners from various sectors to share their expertise, good practice, knowledge of hardware and software advances and applications of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), along with data capture and analytics.
Attendees were shown how some of the latest visualisation technologies are now being used to meet real world challenges, creating both impact and value.
The format of the Forum consisted of industry case studies, roundtable sessions, demonstrations and numerous networking opportunities.
Speakers included Prof. Robin W Scott from the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre; Paul Hetherington of Jaguar Land Rover; Innovate UK's Matt Sansom; and High Value Manufacturing Catapult CTO Sam Turner.
Aimed at industry practitioners, researchers, technology providers and those looking to apply visualisation solutions in their businesses, the event once again took place at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon.
