Lindsay Grant is a Consultant Clinical Scientist and Head of Clinical Engineering at the Royal United Hospital in Bath. Before joining the hospital he worked in industry on the design of medical equipment and pacemakers. He has nearly thirty years experience in the provision of equipment management services in the NHS. Lindsay has lectured on medical engineering course at the universities of Bath, Bournemouth and Surrey and has over 50 publications in the field of medical engineering and physics. He has specialist interests in RF fields, EMC and pacemakers. Lindsay is a past President of the Biological Engineering Society and past Chairman of the IEE Biomedical Engineering Group.
