    Paul Wedgwood

The Carbon Trust , General Manager Scotland

The Carbon Trust's mission is to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy. Paul joined the Carbon Trust in 2009 and leads carbon management and energy efficiency activity, primarily in Scotland. He has over 20 years’ experience in commercial and consultancy roles in both large and smaller organisations. Over the past 13 years, the Carbon Trust’s independent strategic and technical advice has helped more than 3,000 public sector organisations UK-wide to cut their energy bills by over £400 million, while reducing their CO2 emissions by more than 10 million tonnes. In addition to its UK work, the Carbon Trust is increasingly active overseas, including designing and delivering low carbon cities programmes in countries as diverse as Brazil, Chile, China, Malaysia and Mexico. Paul has been leading a collaborative programme in Mexico, based in the cities of Guadalajara and Villahermosa. A second initiative, working with at least 10 other Mexican municipal governments, is about to commence.
