2D anisotropic textured surfaces: properties and advanced antenna applications

Session
Wednesday, 14 November 2007
00:00
Duration: 18 mins
Publication date: 14 Nov 2007
Location: IETTV_Room, IETTV_Venue, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
Part of event European Conference on Antennas and Propagation, EuCAP 2007

About the session

The properties of anisotropic textured surfaces (TS) are discussed in the framework of a generic lattice equivalent circuit model. Applications of the developed theory to design of advanced antenna systems are illustrated by the examples of leaky wave frequency scanning antennas, aperture radiation control, ultra thin absorbers and polarisation preservation reflectors.
