Abstract

Session 6b: Compliance is the Baseline. Resilience keeps the Lights On.

Chair: Rhodri Morgan, Group Leader. Digital Systems Assurance. Frazer- Nash

Speaker: Dale Geach, Head of OT Cyber Services, Siemens Electrification & Automation, UK

Compliance is a snapshot; resilience is a strategy. With the arrival of NIS2, CRA and the Machinery Regulation, the security value chain for critical infrastructure is undergoing its most significant shift in a decade. This presentation unpacks the critical regulatory updates driving this change, their impact on the global supply chain, and the practical imperatives for stakeholders navigating the shift from 'tick-box' compliance to robust, framework-aligned resilience.
