Full presentation title: 144-GBaud PDM-32QAM and 168-GBaud PDM-16QAM signal generation using ultra-broadband optical frontend module with digital pre-emphasis optimization.
We successfully generated 144-GBaud PDM-32QAM and 168-GBaud PDM-16QAM signals with 1.14- and 1.19-Tbps/carrier net rates using analogue-multiplexer-based super-DAC scheme with in-house 80-GHz ultra-broadband optical frontend module. Digital pre-emphasis was optimized to reduce peak-to-average power ratio of low-speed signals from sub-DACs.
