About the session

This work presents a new generation of ultra-wideband VCSELs. They achieve a bandwidth of up to 28GHz with high linearity enabling error-free 80Gbit/s PAM-4 transmission using 6tap transmit FFE equalization and up to 120Gbit/s PAM-4 with an additional 5tap FFE in the receiver.
