Abstract

Vint Cerf – often called one of the “fathers of the Internet” – spoke to us ahead of his plenary talk at ECOC 2023 – the 49th International Conference on Optical Communication. He spoke to us about some of the emerging technologies he’s excited about, the need for international accountability and agency, developing skills and life-long learning, and why he’s an avid Googler.
