Research efforts in Active and Assisted Living have increased rapidly to support independent living. This lecture aimed to provide assistive solutions and served as an important channel to present the latest advances in this area. Delegates of TechAAL were asked to discuss these advancements in technology and to conclude on whether they are making us less or more sociable.
