About the session

The digitalisation of networks and assets is making huge volumes of data available to operators which, with the help of analytics could enable transformations in efficiency, performance and cost reductions.     Jim is Chief Product Officer and co-founder of Grid Edge. Grid Edge aims to change the way that we consume energy by putting intelligent control into the hands of commercial energy consumers. Empowering more customers to bring their demand side assets to the edge of the grid using energy management focused AI. Jim has a background in engineering and optimisation methods and holds a PhD in Operations Research. He has worked across the renewables and energy efficiency industry for over 10 years most recently on predictive machine learning methods for optimal control of behind the meter assets including CHP, vehicle-to-grid and micro-grid systems.
