Wales aims to boost the economy for the UK space industry

Abstract

Wales is aiming to generate 5% of the UK space industry's turnover. The plan is to triple the size of the upstream sector (satellites and ground supporting infrastructure) from £1bn to £3bn per annum.

They plan to achieve this by:

* Promoting clusters of space activity
* Stregthening the UAS environment
* Diversifying the industry value chain
* Developing skills for the space sector
