    Ian started in the Gas industry in 1997. First role was to oversee introduction of the first Graphical Based Network Analysis system. After a number of years in Network Analysis and Network Planning, he moved to a position on an implementation team formed to set up WWU as a standalone company following sale from National Grid. This was followed by a role on a project to come off National Grid’s 50+ IT systems to under 10. Ian then moved on to become the responsible Asset Manager for Mains and Services with primary responsibility for the HSE mandated mains replacement programme. His current role is Asset Strategy Manager, with a remit to ensure WWU is at the leading edge of Asset Management and currently preparing Business Plan for the next Price Control.
