About the session

    Jerry has worked for Northumbrian Water for 28 years and has various roles in Operations, Control Centres and Information Services. He has been the Team Lead for the SCADA & Telemetry Team since 2001 and is responsible for all SCADA & Telemetry Services within the NWL region .Previous to NWL he served with HM Forces. He is married with three grown up children and lives in rural County Durham.

    My career in the water industry began as an Instrument Technician for Northern Ireland’s Water Service in 1988. Since then I have progressed through a number of roles gaining experience and expertise in Telemetry, SCADA, Telecommunications, Instrumentation, Control and Automation.In my current role as Telemetry and SCADA Manager (since 2011) I am responsible for:Delivery and provision of Telemetry & SCADA services for over 4,500 assets.Maintenance of the operation and integrity of Telemetry & SCADA systems.Provision of consultation on Telemetry, SCADA and Automation.Develop Telemetry & SCADA to maximise efficiency benefits.
