Abstract
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is something that all IET members should be doing. Whether you are a graduate, professionally registered or retired, CPD is important to all engineers and technicians. An annual CPD review is being introduced in 2017 by the IET in response to the Engineering Council’s aims, and this short video will explain the CPD requirements and how easy it is to meet them. The IET’s Professional Development Manager, Dick Bacon, answers some frequently asked questions about CPD, and help you to identify what activities count towards your annual CPD hours, and where to record them.
