About the session

The Manufacturing Summit has been established to bring government, industry and stakeholder organisations together. It aims to promote UK manufacturing, to discuss the important issues and how to tackle them, and then to follow up with ongoing actions, through print, web and lobbying via its Vote Manufacturing group. This recording presents the feedback from Working/Discussion Groups, each chaired by a senior industry figure. The Working/Discussion Groups were: Skills; Outsourcing vs. Insourcing; Capital Investment; and SME Innovation.
