Abstract
The pandemic has brought into sharp focus the fact that we need to take better care of our health, and, as the majority of people are now working from home, daily walks and fitness challenges, such as the 5K run, have become increasingly popular. Alongside this trend, more people are purchasing smart watches to monitor their health and progression, as a way to keep track of the goals that they have set themselves to become healthier and more active. But has this truly benefited people during this pandemic?
