    Keith McLean

    Providence Policy, Founder and managing director

    Keith has worked across the energy industry, including 20 years at energy utility SSE where he was Policy and Research Director, and as advisor to UK and Scottish Government. He is Chair of UKERC and UKRIs Scientific Advisory Committee and was appointed to the NI Public Inquiry Team investigating the controversial Renewable Heat Incentive.Keith is founding director of Providence Policy providing independent energy advisory services and has published a number of papers on decarbonising the energy system with a particular focus on the challenges of the heat sector. He was awarded an OBE for services to energy in 2017.
