About the session
The whole of the world around you has been created, with a little help from God, by engineers. All your problems have, to a large degree, been solved by engineers. In fact, no one could live for more than a few minutes without being totally indebted to an engineer. Your standard of living is dictated by engineering products. So why are engineers virtually invisible to the general population? Within society, there is also a major misunderstanding about the true nature of engineering, particularly in relation to its intellectual content. It is partly because of this that youngsters are not attracted to the profession.
