    Network Expert, Renewable Energy Association Tim is a Chartered Electrical Engineer with over forty years experience in the electricity industry.The first twenty five years of his career was spent working for electrical utilities themselves, on the generation and transmission side for the Central Electricity Generating Board, in Distribution for the London Electricity Board and with a stand alone generator for National Power.Tim has been a member of many national bodies that negotiated the framework agreements of the industry such as the Grid and Distribution Code review panels, and bodies dealing with transmission and distribution charging, ancillary services and connection contracts.Since working as a consultant he has assisted a number of clients in negotiating connection agreements, advised regulators and governments on electricity market structure issues and taken a particular interest in issues associated with small generators embedded in distribution networks. He is the networks adviser of the Renewable Energy Association.
