About the session

We are pleased to invite you to watch the launch of the Midlands Robotics Network (MRN).

This Network is brought to you by the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) in partnership with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), with the support of business, research and academia in the region.

The launch starts with a showcase, the first in a series of events which will be jointly delivered around the UK with the IET, focused on the start-up and spin out opportunities in RAS.

The session includes the following topics:

An overview of the current RAS landscape and background of the Midlands ecosystem

First-hand accounts from a selection of companies that have already undergone the start-up or spin out process

An insight into key business skills, with sessions covering Marcomms, Design and Manufacturing and Access to Funding and Finance

The afternoon programme will highlight the opportunities and potential growth within the RAS industry.
