The world's largest mobile phone congress, 3GSM, was held in Barcelona, Spain in February 2007. David Sandham reports from the Congress, interviews some of the participants, and asks whether the future for mobile phones lies in increasingly high specification devices, or in more modest devices for rapidly growing emerging markets, or in a combination of both.
