About the session

This presentation will discuss some of the lessons learned that will aid replication of Demand Side Management (DSM) by any 3rd parties, we will describe the equipment installed on NINES to provide DSM, and explain the different commercial relationships that existed. This will be a joint presentation; the first half would be delivered by SSEN and Glen Dimplex explaining what equipment is in the homes and the relationships needed to support it, whilst the second half will explain the Wide Area Network and the scheduling of the DSM homes via the Element Manager. This is a novel area that has not yet been presented to the industry.
