This presentation documents the delivery of the largest construction programme in Europe. The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) is the organisation which is responsible for the delivery of the venues and infrastructure for the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. The speaker explains the challenges that the ODA faced on its creation in 2006 and outlines its strategic approach to the construction programme. As the ODA enters its final year of construction, the speaker provides an update on the delivery of the programme and also highlights the innovations that have driven the project, which have resulted in new benchmarks being achieved in project management, design and sustainable construction.
