Abstract

Message from the President to all IET members:

Building on last year’s successful new-style event, I would like to invite all IET members to join the IET Board of Trustees and senior staff at our IET Members Annual Information Event, on Thursday, 18 June 2015, from 5.30 to 7.30pm, at the Institution of Civil Engineers, 1 Great George Street, London SW1P 3AA.

The event will incorporate the formal AGM, but is also an opportunity for you to meet your Trustees, and find out more about your IET, our achievements and plans – as well as to ask questions.

There will be a chance to hear from Chief Executive and Secretary Nigel Fine about the Institution’s work over the last year, while I will be looking forward and sharing our plans for the future.  The agenda will include reports and updates from the IET Council, the Young Professionals Community Committee, and IET Connect.

All sessions will include time for questions and answers.  And, there will be an opportunity for networking, with light refreshments.

Speakers: William Webb, IET President 2014/15

Nigel Fine, IET Chief Executive and Secretary
