About the session

The digitisation of networks and assets is making huge volumes of data available to operators which, with the help of analytics could enable transformations in efficiency, performance and cost reductions. Dan Hopkinson

Head of network and emi services, Electralink

Dan joined ElectraLink in March 2016 to focus on the development of the Data Transfer Network (DTN) and associated data services. Specifically, he concentrated on ensuring that the data transfer service would continue to be a high value solution for its users and that it would remain at the heart of industry processes, through constant innovation and excellent service performance. Prior to joining ElectraLink, Dan held senior operational management roles at both Siemens and G4S, focusing on the delivery of all elements of the metering value chain, from smart meter installation and data collection through to data processing. These roles enabled Dan to develop a clear perspective of the benefits of smart metering and the opportunities delivered through smart grid solutions.
