On 15th February 2004, a railway maintenance crew were working on the UK's West Coast Main Line at Tebay, Cumbria . Without warning, an unmanned trolley carrying over 15 tons of 18-ft long steel rail sections came crashing into them out of the darkness. This presentation looks at the Tebay disaster and the resulting prosecution.
