About the session
We are constantly reminded of the challenges that the 21st Century will bring, with climate change, food scarcity and energy security to name but a few. We also know that building a sustainable future is key to overcoming these challenges, but what does that really mean? What, as engineers at the forefront of building this new future, should we be doing? To answer such wide-ranging questions, you need a wide-ranging viewpoint, with R&D, academia, media, investment and manufacturing playing an important role. After a panel of industry leaders from each of these sectors had provided their views on this topic, the audience was given the opportunity to ask their own questions.
