The Midlands Regions Sub-National Transport Body, Midlands Connect (one of seven in England) will be sharing their Electric Vehicle Infrastructure journey since publishing their Supercharging the Midlands Report in 2019. Building on the ambition to support the rural journey to decarbonise through accelerating the uptake of Electric Vehicles, by working with Local Transport Authorities together to scale up investment into the region through consortium approaches on Local Electrification Vehicle Infrastructure (LEVI) funding.
