    Electricity Storage, Director Swanburton & Dir of Electricity Storage Network

    Anthony Price is a chartered civil engineer who has been working on electricity storage development, projects and policy for more than 21 years. He studied engineering at the University of Cambridge. Some years later he joined the Central Electricity Generating Board in 1988 and began work on an energy storage project which was developed by National Power, a successor company to the CEGB. In 2003 he founded Swanbarton Limited, a consultancy company specialising in electrical energy storage. He was a director of the Electricity Storage Association from 1997 until 2003 and established the Electricity Storage Network in 2011 as a trade association for the British Electricity Storage industry. He was Chairman of the Institution of Civil Engineers Energy Panel from 2007 until 2010. He has published a number of papers and articles on energy storage.
